Oh I do like to be beside the seaside . . .

Went to Whitstable today with my family.

Started off a little grey and gloomy - but turned into a beautiful day. Felt inspired to take some photos - here they are!

  1. Hello, you certainly picked a good day to come to my home town of Whitsable - it was gorgeous in the end on Sunday! It was certainly busy in town - sadly I was working in a shop on Sunday and only saw the sunshine through the window! Never mind! Hope you had fun, love your pics.

  2. Thanks Helen!
It did turn out to be a glorious day - very busy in the harbour. Everyone made the most of the fresh seafood - can't say that I was persuaded by the oysters though!

Glad you like my pics. Am off to St Ives next month so should find plenty more inspiration there!

  3. I do love a grey, seaside morning. There is something very soothing about it. I love your photograph of the shells and rocks in the sand; and peeling paint...who doesn't like the vintage charm peeling paint?

  4. Great photos - just proves it doesn't need to be sunny for an artists eye to see beauty.
